A warm welcome to this website for the parish of St Clare and St Hugh, Liverpool, which has served the Catholic community in this suburb, south of the city centre, since 1890. Though the area has changed significantly in the intervening years, the mission of the parish essentially remains the same - to fulfil the command of Jesus Christ: “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news.” (Mark 16:15)
